HOLCIM COMMUNITY CENTRE
2015– The Holcim Community Centre is a social and cultural project dedicated for the local community of a low-income residential area on the edge of the Thu Thiem District in Ho-Chi-Minh City.
In this project, we apply the 5 R: Reduce (the waste, the construction cost, the energy), Renovate (an old water city tank instead to demolish it), Reuse (the concrete construction waste into furniture design, reuse the existing tanks), Recycle (the 30% shoe waste in the concrete, 10% recycled contents in cement), Renewable (the rain water harvesting totally free and renewable thanks to existing tanks).
We apply also the 3 B philosophy (for French Bon (good), Bien (well), and then Beau (Beautiful).
SOW: Architectural design
